Office Resources is established in June of 1996 by Kevin Barbary & Paul Fraser.

Office Resources acquires Manchester, New Hampshire furniture dealer, Office Logix.
Office Resources acquires Metro West furniture dealer, Comprehensive Facilities Solutions (ComFacS).
Interior Resources Group (IRG), OR’s Minority Women Owned Business Enterprise partner, is established.
OR is announced as the Exclusive Boston Knoll Dealer.
Office Resources acquires Portland, Maine furniture dealer, Corporate Environments.
$75 million in sales in a single year for the first time
Office Resources acquires New York City furniture dealer, Offices Limited, Inc.
$100 million in sales in a single year for the first time
OR named a Boston Globe Top Places To Work
Office Resources opens a new location in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and reaches $125 million in sales in a single year for the first time.
$175 million in sales in a single year for the first time
July – Herman Miller acquires Knoll and forms MillerKnoll, one of the largest and most influential modern design companies in the world.
November – Office Resources acquires Arenson Office Furnishings. With locations in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, the purchase will further strengthen Office Resources’ position in the Tri-State area. With a combined annual revenue over $250 million, this will make Office Resources one of the largest Knoll Dealers in North America.
