Office Resources is excited to announce the hiring of new employees, Scott De Santis, Carolyn Sears, Mary Connors and Sarah Mortimer, as we continue to grow in all of our markets. All four additions have an extensive background and a wealth of knowledge and experience of the furniture industry.
De Santis joins Office Resources after serving as an Account Manager at Herman Miller in the New York office for the past five years. In addition to his experience handling large-scale projects, he is also heavily involved in the real estate community. As vice-chair of the Young Emerging Leaders Committee in IFMA, he assists facilities managers in developing lasting connections and gain knowledge that helps propel them in their careers. Scott will utilize his experience and relationships to better serve his clients in his Sales Executive role at Office Resources New York.
With over 20 years of experience including Knoll and Knoll Textiles, Sears brings a background in interior design and client engagement to Office Resources Harford, where she will maintain her long and successful relationships within the A&D community. As a Sales Executive, her enthusiasm and creativity will help current and future clients develop beautiful spaces while providing insight and information regarding changes in the industry. Sears is a current member of IIDA and is looking forward to representing Knoll and Office Resources in the Hartford marketplace.
Connors brings her extensive product knowledge and the ability to interpret design intent in the new and exciting role of Product Application Specialist. For many years, she worked as a design consultant to various architectural firms and dealerships in the Boston/New England area, specializing in space planning, design development and contract furniture specifications. Most recently, she was a senior designer/project manager for Office Interiors Ltd, a Haworth dealership in New Hampshire. Connors has vast experience in the contract furniture industry and will be working across all Office Resources locations to assist in all phases of the product design implementation process.
As Associate of New Business Development for Office Resources in Maine and New Hampshire, Mortimer will be working to help identify new business opportunities for the company. She will also serve as the firm’s primary liaison to the architecture and design community. Mortimer brings a wealth of knowledge having worked in the industry for over nine years in previous roles on the strategic alliance team at Peabody Office in Boston, MA and inside sales for the manufacturer, SiS Ergo, in Londonderry, NH. Her enthusiasm, creativity and previous work experience will be valuable as she builds and strengthens relationships with the architecture and design community and beyond.
