Natixis Global Asset Management

Location: 888 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116

Overview: The 17-story, 425,000-square-foot 888 Boylston Street is designed to be Boston’s most sustainable office building, using 45 percent less energy and 37 percent less potable water than an average office building. Designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, additional sustainable features include a chilled beam HVAC system, on-site rooftop wind power generation that will power all exterior building and plaza lighting, and a rain harvesting and reuse system. Natixis relocated 540 employees from 399 Boylston Street to their new office space. The 128,000 square foot office includes an executive conferencing area, full service café, multiple work room and media rooms and a gorgeous boardroom table. Office Resources, CBT, STV and Natixis met weekly for over six months confirming all of their furniture specifications. As a result of this intense collaboration our team developed a complete height adjustable solution for all open plan and private office locations, pinpointed exact wire management and monitor locations. In addition to the furniture component, ORI’s Architectural Wall team installed over 2,500 linear feet of Transwall’s high design, butt-glazed architectural glass wall system. Design features include framed glass sliding doors, frameless glass pivot doors and custom finish wood pivot doors.
